Trudget ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.
When you use Trudget, you manually enter financial information such as expenses, income, bank account names, and budget preferences. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
We use PostHog, an analytics platform, to collect anonymized usage data such as which features you use, onboarding completion, and general app interactions. This helps us improve the product experience. We do not collect your financial data through analytics.
Trudget uses AI to parse your expense text into structured data (amount, category, date). You can choose between two processing modes in Settings:
You can switch between these modes at any time. We recommend on-device processing if privacy is your top priority.
Trudget Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment information. RevenueCat processes subscription data according to their privacy policy.
Your financial data (expenses, budgets, accounts) is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a remote database of your financial records. If you delete the app, your locally stored data is permanently removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or our website.
